Painting is a landscape of Ghats of Varanasi during dusk. Dawn at the Ghats of Varanasi, popularly known as ‘Subah-e-Banaras,’ is more popular and often gets more attention. However, the dusk at Ghats carries stillness, distinct from the bristling energy of the dawn. Boats are empty, people walk up, returns to their stay, leaving a silence filled with sound emanating from the contact of the river with the ghats.
